Read the groups of words below and decide if they are complete sentences or sentence fragments. If a a group of words is a complete sentence, write the letters CS next to the sentence.
If there is no verb, write the letters NV.
If there is no subject, write the letters NS.
If there is no object, write the letters NO.
If the sentence is an incomplete thought, write the letters IC.

3. To fix this sentence you must tell what it is you are talking about. 'We're talking about our homework.'

4. To fix this sentence, you must tell what she enjoys. 'She enjoys mountain climbing.'

5. To fix this sentence, you must add an independent clause. 'When I get home in the evening, I want to relax in my easy chair.'

6. To fix this sentence you must use a form of the "to be" verb. 'It is on the desk.'

7. To fix this sentence you must use a subject noun after the word 'then'. 'Then he will go to school.'

9. To fix this sentence, you must insert a verb after the subject 'I.' 'I want to speak Japanese.'

10. To fix this sentence you must add an independent clause. 'I went to the park because it was a beautiful day.
