Interesting facts:
- On the calendar, the first day of the week is Sunday; however, in the Bible it says that God created the heavens and the earth in six days and on the seventh day he rested. So, if you observe the Sabbath on Sunday, Monday should be the first day of the week. The Sabbath is actually supposed to be observed on Saturday, but was changed to * Sunday approximately one century after the death of Christ.
- The 5 day work week begins on Monday and ends on Friday.
- The first day of the weekend is Saturday, but for many people the weekend actually begins Friday night and ends Sunday night.
