Interesting facts:

On the calendar, the first day of the week is Sunday; however, in the Bible it says, that God created the heavens and the earth in six days and on the seventh day he rested. So, that would make Monday the first day of the week.

The 5 day work week begins on Monday and ends on Friday.

The first day of the weekend is Saturday, but the weekend actually begins Friday night and ends Sunday night.
